Applications Open for Regional Business Improvement Program

A large warehouse with tall shelves, stacked pallets and workers driving forklifts through wide, organised aisles and loading bays.
Applications have opened for the Regional Business Improvement Program (RBIP), which builds on the success of the Lean Modern Manufacturing Pilot (LMMP) to support small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses across regional NSW.

The Regional Business Improvement Program helps eligible manufacturers identify opportunities to improve their operations, strengthen workforce skills and enhance long-term competitiveness. Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive business audit designed to assess current processes and identify the requirements and potential costs associated with introducing continuous improvement practices.

Audits will focus on improving operational performance through the application of lean manufacturing principles, with the aim of driving greater efficiency and productivity.

Funding will be allocated to eligible applications on a first-come, first-served basis until available funds are exhausted.

The NSW Government continues to invest in strengthening regional manufacturing by supporting efficiency, resilience and readiness for emerging technologies, while helping to grow local economies and protect jobs in regional communities.

Applications close at 4.00pm on Friday 16 January. Further information, including eligibility requirements, is available in the RBIP Guidelines, or by contacting [email protected]
