City of Newcastle Energy Efficiency Webinar for Small Businesses

Scheduled for Wednesday 22nd April from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, this session will showcase experts who will walk you through key opportunities for small businesses to reduce emissions and operating costs, including:

• Understanding Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and what they mean for small business operations

• Solar and battery options suitable for business premises

• Electric vehicles and EV charging considerations for fleets and staff

• Electrification opportunities including hot water heat pumps, induction cooking and reverse‑cycle air conditioning

• Improving thermal comfort through insulation, draught proofing and other simple upgrades

• Energy plans and tariffs – how to find a better deal and when GreenPower makes sense

• Available government rebates and incentives to help reduce upfront costs

As an added benefit for attendees, the City of Newcastle is funding 10 free energy audits, delivered by ZapCat, available on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

There will also be time for audience questions, with general queries welcomed. Please note: detailed or enterprise‑specific advice will be handled separately through one‑on‑one consultations.
