ATO Masterclass: Supporting small businesses

The ATO's online resource, Essentials to Strengthen Your Small Business, offers free, professional courses designed to help small businesses build knowledge in tax, superannuation, and business management.

Looking to improve your skills in business planning, finances, record keeping, or registration? Or simply want to understand what's required to start a small business?

Essentials to strengthen your small business is a free online learning platform offering over 30 short courses on topics such as record keeping, cash flow, deductions, GST, superannuation, and more. To complement these resources, the ATO is hosting a Masterclass series over the coming months to help you understand the essentials of starting and running a successful business. 

Register for the session 'Starting a small business' on Wednesday 11 February from 12:00 to 1:00pm AEST here. You'll also find upcoming sessions such as GST, cash flow, paying workers, and eInvoicing that you can register for in advance.
