Hunter Local Jobs are working with One Training to deliver the Digital Walkabout Program in Newcastle, kicking off in February.
The program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with cultural connection and awareness, accredited digital literacy training, a 12-month pre-paid Optus SIM card and a FREE laptop on completion, supporting participants with their job search journey.
Kicking off on Thursday February 19th - the first day of the program participants will attend the Deadly Futures Careers & Community Expo to connect with local employers and services before completing the program.
Hunter Local Jobs Program has secured funding to cover 5 spots for any Aboriginal community members who are not with a Workforce Australia Provider.
